A Note from our Director
Ashleigh Doyle
Executive Director
Growing up competing in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, I developed valuable skills and discipline through my dance training. These qualities contributed to my success as I pursued higher education. I earned my bachelors degree in dance at the University at Buffalo and upon returning home, I began teaching and dancing in the greater Boston area. My dedication to dance remained strong even as I explored different career paths.
After a few years I decided to further my education and earned a Masters in special education. Despite my focus on a different field, I continued to dance professionally and teach dance on a part-time basis.
For over a decade, I worked as a special educator and reading interventionist in Boston. The skills and lessons I learned as a competitive dancer played a significant role in my ability to excel in education. Dance instilled discipline, perseverance, time management and the ability to work well with others.
During the pandemic, my husband and I started a family, leading me to take a break from the dance world for the first time in over 30 years. While I don’t regret those few years away from dance, my heart longed for a piece of itself that dance had always fulfilled.
Becoming the director of Accelerate Dance Experience and reconnecting with the world of dance has been an absolute joy and a dream come true. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the dance community that has given me so much.
My vision for Accelerate Dance Experience is to create a nurturing and empowering environment where aspiring dancers can thrive, learn, and discover their unique artistic voice.I look forward to sharing my passion, knowledge, and love for dance with all those who join us at Accelerate Dance Experience.
